The BHS Class of 1960 Speaks
ANNUAL PICNIC in the PARK CANCELLED
According to Kathy Healey, a Co-Chair on our reunion committee, and long-time member of the Beverly Homecoming Committee, there will not be an annual "Picnic in the Park" this year. Kathy was in charge of this event. In past years, members of your reunion committee devoted time and resources to announce this event to our BHS '60 classmates and others, but the event never really became all that popular. The ones that did attend always enjoyed themselves, even on those days when it rained. The best year was the first year, 2001. (see "Picnic in the Park" photo links on the BHS '60 Home Page; link to right). Some of us might be there anyway, to enjoy each other's company, and greet those who did not get the word. The event would have been held on Friday evening, July 28, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Lynch Park.
