From Fred Carr '65
Received Mon 08/12/2002:
...it is wonderful that we have a chance to preserve some of the Camp Herrick history. Am at work now, so don't have time to add to the memories, but there sure are lots of them. Brothers Dick and Tom stayed involved in Troop 2 much longer than I did, so they would have the best recollections and photos. I believe Dad stayed involved with Camp Herrick at least until 1965 (when I graduated from high school) but it ended soon after. He has an enormous archive of scouting slides that I hope are still somewhere in the old house, but don't know if they can be scanned.
Thanks again, especially to you Bill for initiating this.
